What’s the most amazing sports accomplishment that you’ve seen in person?

Mine was in 1989, it was my Freshman year in HS. I went to Parkway in Bossier. We beat Green Oaks that year 21-20. Total yards offense was 364 for Green Oaks and 17 for Parkway. Our Senior Kick Returner had 3 Kickoff Returns for TD. One for 86 yards and 2 for 85 yards. The difference in the game was Green Oaks missed a PAT. The game ended their 17 game winning streak. It was insane to see in person.

Joe Burrow's first half against OU in the seminfinal in 2019. Just disgusting how good he was.

This season I got to see the White Sox lose a game in the middle of their record-tying consecutive loss streak.

And, of course, that means I got to see the worst team ever.

The record for High School Grand Slams in a season in Tennessee is 3. My High School buddy holds that record (along with several other players) but he hit his 3 grand slams over an 8 day period. It's been almost 40 years ago, and nobody has come close to that streak.

In 1987 saw Nolan Pitch against the Giants. He had been injured and on a pitch limit. He was on and during the 7th he hit his pitch limit. He struck out the side. He gave a curtain call and when he came out for the 8th the Dome went wild. He struck out the side there too and gave another curtain call.
