Here’s the deal…from south Louisiana but haven’t spent much time in New Orleans in 10-15 years.
Wife (who knows nothing about NO)and 3 nieces are going to the concert…I am going to drop them off and pick them up.
Drop off is easy, but considering traffic, safety concerns etc, where would be a good place to pick them up…or meet them…
Sorry no pics…

Shouldn't be a problem. Just wear a Kelce jersey and show em your bandaids. Pull right up.

I always heard it was easier to pick up wives at Chuck E Cheese. But that was just from some offshore hands i knew.

Just tell them to walk a few blocks and pick them up at Johnny Sanchez. It’s on Poydras and maybe 5 blocks from the dome. You could even head there after you drop them off and watch a game at the bar while you drink some great tequila

You don't want to get caught up in traffic on Poydras. I'd have them walk across Poydras and you can meet them on the side street by the Mercedes van dealership. Or have them walk out to Loyola and you can get on the interstate from there. There will be a lot of people around when the show lets out so I would not worry about their walking 2-3 blocks to get to you.

Tell them to go to Dave and Busters and have a good time until traffic lightens up... Unless they close. I could be wrong. I could be right. I don't know. I don't plan to be in the city that night. Wife is going with her friends.

Your plan is attending the Taylor Swift concert with them. It's okay to say you invited your daughter to the concert.

The best place to pick up wives is by volunteering at your local battered womens shelter!

When my gf and kids went to NRG stadium(Houston) to see her, I found the Rideshare line and hopped in it with the Lyft and Uber drivers.
Worked out so damned perfect.

See if the Superdome has a similar setup.

Just leave them there

They can see the liberal utopia they support firsthand

Have them walk towards Lafayette Square (between St. Charles & Camp) or somewhere near there. Gets them out of the cluster around the dome and keeps them from crossing Poydras.

They can follow Girod St./Lafayette St. / Poydras St.

You can skip the clusterfrick of Loyola/Claiborne and get off at St. Charles Ave. Stay to the left lanes when passing Tulane Ave/Superdome exits/Claiborne/Loyola ...

If they are old enough, pick them up at Lucy's or Vic's Kangaroo Cafe. Best to let the crowd exhale and take your time.

There are also plenty of hotels near there, but I'd assume a decent amount of people are going to attempt to pick up their wives/kids from Hyatt/Virgin.

Just get a suite at the Hyatt across the street from the SuperDome, spend the night there and not have to worry about traffic after the concert.

Drop off and pickup in front of spades (just don’t tell them what spades is) but easy in and out if you come down Tulane and then hop on poydras after drop off and pickup and get on poydras interstate entrance right there. By the LSU Health
