Culturally and geographically speaking. Is it South Carolina? Is it Florida? Is it the Eastern part of Texas? Is it Alabama?

Similar to which part? The southern and northern parts within the state aren't that similar.

Doesn't seem to be much difference between North La and Southern Ar.

The northern part of the state and east Texas are pretty much the same.

South Louisiana is pretty much its own monster and really Acadian, the river parishes and New Orleans are all different but probably south Ms or Houston because of all of the La transplants

I did say that the fishing villages along the Kenai peninsula reminded me of Louisiana except a different view.

Arkansas.

Cajun is to Louisiana what hillbilly is to Arkansas. Two different brands of the same sorta white trash.

Maybe 20% of the state is cajun. It's majority redneck.

While not a state, I would say Boston is the best comparison I can think of.
