I think it illustrates the well known fact that quality analysis always loses to rumors and controversy.

Stephen A Smith has 6 million followers
That is the sad world we live in. ESPN just committed a lot more money to the NBA and as crazy as it sounds, someone like Stephen A Smith is probably more valuable than Lowe as they make cuts to pay the NBA.

I was just listening to the latest edition of The Lowe Post right before I saw this news. What a terrible decision by ESPN. I hope he does join The Ringer. Him and KOC as the deep basketball analysis guys with Russillo and Bill as the opinion guys would be fantastic content.
