How is Catholic ahead of Rummel when they lost to a team Rummel beat?

Ruston at Midland (TX), 2 p.m.

Anybody know how good Midland is this year? Should this be a really good game?

This is going to be a beat down. PVHS will be taking its lumps for at least the next 2 to 3 years.

Is St. Thomas More pretty solid this year? Looking at the rankings I would say yes. I know Neville had them in a playoff game a few years back and they were a well coached and disciplined team. Neville has been in some competitive games this year already with 2 trips to Shreveport against Calvary/Evangel and then last week against a pretty legit team out of MS. Should be a good game.

They played in the jamboree and it was, expect more of a beatdown this time.

God is punishing you for being so damn wrong about Catholic baseball last year

They're definitely not the team from the previous two years, by far. Their offense is struggling. Defense is pretty good. They didn't score an offensive touchdown against Acadiana and only had 178 total yards. They're 1-2, really should be 0-3 as they beat Carencro by 1 point. Carencro's QB threw 5 interceptions.

All I know is that Midland Lee was forced to change their name to Midland Legacy, but somehow managed to keep their mascot the Rebels.

No one was forced to do anything, especially in midsized town, Texas… they swayed to public opinion…

Polls tend to rank the team, not the coaches.
