I know this is an epidemic in Texas but I am curious about elsewhere. Is this happening all over with Texas being the main state of relocation?

I know you said Texas excluded. . . but that's where I'm at. I have had 3 California transplants move into my neighborhood. All left because of the shite politics and all are hard working conservatives. One of them is being pursued by California for the exit tax Newsom imposed on high income earners that leave.

Why would anyone from Cali move to Louisiana? As bad is California is, it is still an upgrade to the cesspool.

I work with one. He probably posts on the poli board. Has Trump stickers on everything he owns. He's pretty insufferable to be around since he makes EVERYTHING about politics.
Example:
"Hey Cali where are you going for lunch?"
"I won't be able to afford to go anywhere if Kamala gets elected"

I lived in El Segundo, CA for about 2 years doing some real estate stuff, but I'm not "from" California.
I'm the only person I know that lives in southern Oklahoma that's ever even been to California, much less lived there. Everyone here is from Oklahoma with a handful of stragglers from Texas.

Pretty often, but I go to a lot of breweries and farmers market type places.

Go to Nevada. You’ll find a bunch of them.

There's more than a few in northern Arkansas. I think the amount of available outdoor activities appeals to them. As does the more conservative politics (aside from a few urban areas.)

Two at my last job but both were the type that wanted out because they couldn't take it anymore. Not the typical "leave cause of the left but still vote left" types.
We had an office outside of San Fran and one of the marketing directors came to Georgia for a meeting.
Although head office is in Atlanta, the business started in a small town and still operates there as well.
Guy saw what 900k buys in rural GA vs back in Cali.
Immediately put his house on the market, got a bigger house for 400k less on the lake, and loves the south.

Dad lives in San Antonio. He says he went to a Bible study and was the only non Californian.
Apparently they were recognizing people they knew BACK from Cali at the Bible study. Wild.

Because most leaving Cali are like that! This bullshite idea that liberals would leave California to go to a Red state due to politics is absolutely igorant bordering moronic.
My PE coach from elementary school that was friends with my mom, was living in the villages and became a Lesbian in the past 20 years. She moved back to the midwest because she couldn't handle Desantis and apparently the Villages must be very red. Everyone I've met thats somewhere like Nashville or Florida that moved from Cali or the northeast, did so because they are full republican and got tired of the liberal bullshite.
