Did he address only throwing the ball 4 times in the 2nd half?

Yeah, not to knock any of our past coaches, but his recall of the game specific situations, he explanation and transparency on decision-making, his complimentary nature toward us, and his support of his players...are impressive.

Didn't have to. Most saw their QB knocked out.

Except when they sneak in a Week 0 game before your season opener with them in 2002, and then when they try to get out of an arse beating by delaying the return trip by 3 years. Luckily, karma didn't forget and ol' Frank walked out of Tiger Stadium with a 48-7 beatdown.

Sorry, not a fan of old man Beamer.

Man that was right after the shooting on their campus. There were very likely a lot of other things on their minds.

To this day, that win was as impressive as I’ve seen in all my years of watching LSU football. May have been the most complete game from offense, defense and special teams.
That VaTech team won their conference.

Most would accept no one. We have to win every game by 50 and if we allow even 1 yard, then we need to fire someone.

When you can run the ball like they were, why would you throw it?

Keiland Williams’ calves still keep Beamer up at night.

It's interesting how he said they teach to look for the QB on an interception. I know most coaches probably teach that to try and get a lick in on the QB but on the flip side that's the most protected position in the game so you know the referees are also going to be looking close at any hit the QB takes.

To me it seems like the better option to yeah block him if he's there and attempting to make a tackle but don't seek the QB out just to get a hit in on him.

Well, Ashford is complete garbage but I’m pretty sure he isn’t going to say that in a press conference.

That was week 2. Week 1 was a 45-0 beat down in Stark Vegas.
