To either get a lump sum or to free him to coach somewhere else.
re: How Hard is it for Skenes to get a win?

It's tougher now than ever for a starting pitcher to get wins on a bad team.
By comparison, Steve Carlton in 1972 went 27-10 on a Phillies team that went 59-97. He threw 30 complete games and had a 1.97 ERA.

Billy Cannon Jr was a freshman at A&M in 1980.
If LSU has the money to buy him out, keep him and spend it on NIL.

Now that was a season opener
That was week 2. Week 1 was a 45-0 beat down in Stark Vegas.
It's coming along about as well as that repaving of Nicholson Dr.
Hard to believe that he worked for Van Horn.

Jay would rather play in front of zero fans than to not play. He would love to have a full stadium, but his priority is to get all of the innings in. It's the same reason that he hates the run-rule for non-conference games.
Jay is passionate about developing his players, and missing games or innings due to weather inhibits that.

Ok so you’re saying she wasn’t good but dominated men…
I tried to be cordial, but apparently you're just an a-hole. Read my post, because I didn't say that she dominated men (she didn't), and I didn't say that she was good. I said that she was a great.
Congrats on seeing Pete play in person. That doesn't make you more knowledgeable than me, just older. Seimone was the number one recruit in the country. She was the number one pick in the WNBA draft. She was on the all-time top 20 WNBA players list for the WNBA's 20 year anniversary, and the all-time top 25 players list for the 25th anniversary. This spring she goes into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.
For starters, I know how to spell Seimone's name. Joyce and I are the same age and were at LSU the same 4 years. She would play in men's pickup games in the old Gym Armory. She was a great player, but the women's game was much weaker back then. That's not a knock on Joyce, as you can only play when it's your time.
I'm more than happy to recognize Walker's greatness, but I just don't agree with her being better than Seimone. How about agreeing that they were both great Tigers? :geauxtigers:

Joyce Walker probably was better than Simone Augustus, but she wasn't as good as Seimone Augustus.

When Big Baby was at LSU, Jimbo told him that he might be an All-American basketball player, but he'd be a Hall of Fame left tackle.
The truth was that he loved basketball, but not football, so he made the right choice. You have to love football to reach your potential.

That's pretty cool. Glad we ditched the checkerboard end zones.
Props for the Pizza Village plug.

Better question is why is Kiffin in Knoxville?
I think the last time he was there they gave him free golf balls.
A Dallas rugby club once had their after match party for a traveling Irish rugby team at an Irish pub. It turns out the Irish dudes were more interested in listening to local music and pounding American light beers.

Fans were nice ( easy to be nice when you win ) . Only one drunk frat boy who said " I hate f***ing Texas " to my wife. She responded " So do we , you're playing Texas A&M "
Stadium infrastructure is horrible. You need to be part billy goat to get to the upper level seats. Enjoyed the piss troughs ( flashback to Old Kyle ). Concourses are the size of an American Eagle plane's aisle. Pretty campus, generally friendly. The Market Square area is pretty cool. Nashville is a blast, Broadway bars are a lotta fun . I'll go back there to whip up on Vandy, getting tired of being disappointed almost everywhere else.
What Aggie doesn't love a good piss trough?
