Brian Kelly says he feels better about LSU’s physicality after watching the film.

To quote Brian Kelly, “we see it differently”

He's either blind or in denial. I'm not sure which is worse

That post confuses the hell out of me. He says he feels better about our physicality, then says that our offensive line isn’t physical enough and can’t knock people off the ball?

Cubelic said the same shite

It sounds like he's having a stroke during that quote... not very Kelly like.
The whole purpose of games vs FCS schools is to dominate early, and pull starters by the 3rd Q to give them rest and backups more PT. So, there is sense in getting physical and pushing Nichols around so you can have 50+ yd runs and put the game away.
As for "flexing" against 7-8 man fronts, he tried that against USC and it didn't work. I'm not sure if we can even run against a Dime front as things stand.

Kelly is a fraud. I no longer believe anything that guy says

I can't even interpret that quote.

Has Brian Kelly had his annual vision exam. At his age we lose our faculties very quickly.

Defenses will continue to stack the box and keep two safeties deep against LSU. In 2nd half against USC the LSU offense failed to take what the USC defense was giving them. Just continue to take what defenses give you until they change. When they drop back then run at the defense.

What does that even mean?

BK would fit the TD contrarian role very well if we need another one.

What I’m gathering is he’s saying that they wanted to call plays based on how the defense was lining up, so if they were crowding the box he wasn’t gonna run just to prove a point. It’s an absolutely ridiculous comment but I’m pretty sure that’s what he’s saying.

I havent gone back to rewatch and diagnose the running plays, but maybe they saw on film that its more of a running back issue? Emery was effective at running the ball against USC. Maybe the backs we just have now don't have the vision/patience to run behind our line.
I would still say it's an issue to some degree though, we should have had running lanes open up big enough for a Mack truck against Nicholls so anyone could have seen the hole to run through, but I will give them offense some benefit of the doubt, but the running game has to be there this year if LSU is going to have any chance at a decent record/playoff potential.

Our RB vision sucks.
Half our run plays result in a rb running into one of our blockers.

Better beat South Carolina. Can’t sugarcoat that loss.

Well ..why was it so important to try and do that vs USC?
