That's so they can focus on every other state with every other natural disaster like earthquakes or tornadoes or nor'easters.

Thank God we’re sending billions and billions of dollars to Ukraine to help those people rather than Americans from whom the govt stole that money in the first place.

The really nice young couple 2 doors down had to sell and relocate to somewhere when Progressive shut down in La.. He was some kind of a middle manager with a company car (red, white, blue logo wrap on it) that mentioned others reporting to him.

His wife was an ER nurse at the closest hospital. They had 2 really young kids too.

They left pretty quickly so am thinking he got a comparable job offer and jumped on it.

A bunch of my neighbors are getting new roofs after their insurers approved their hail claims. They had no idea they had “damage” until a guy driving a truck with a roofing company decal sticker asked to check their roof.

Amazing insurance only wants to insure areas where risk of loss is really low

If they don’t want to write policies anymore then refund your customers for all the premiums they’ve been paying for decades

Are the customers who had claims going to pay those back?

The only reason they’re pulling out of the area is because its not profitable. If they were making money, they wouldn’t be leaving. Or if it was profitable, other insurance companies would be lining up to take their place.

I'm damn near 50 and have never filed a Homeowner claim in all my years of owning property.

I'm sick and tired of subsidizing other people's new roofs, not to mention generators and chainsaws.

And those roofers knocking on doors usually work for law firms.

Tell them you have State Farm and see how fast they get out the driveway.

State Farm don't play that BS.

You're the dope in this situation. I'm sure there were plenty of chances in your 50 years that were claim worthy that you ate bc you're stupid.
