I’ve defended Brian Kelly all I can. I’m off that train now. He’s not it.

Time and time again he has shown he cannot consistently beat ranked opponents. We’re in no man’s land with our head coach.

How does one direct their booing at Brian Kelly, and what do they think will be the outcome?
The players are going play better?
Recruits will love it?
Woodward will fire Kelly?
We have the dumbest most pathetic cry baby fans on this site in all of sports. Thankfully the majority here don’t attend games.

Quote from another thread. Seems appropriate here. Most people here are fair weather fans. And I 100% agree with the “pathetic cry baby fans” comment. I, for one, will be at all the home games this year!! Geaux Tigers!!

Imagine being off the train with a guy who’s won 10 games in his first 2 years after inheriting a dumpster fire.

Here’s the truth: Kelly has a lot that he needs to prove but this team is in a better place than it was 3 years ago.

Here’s some more truth, with the expanded playoffs we will eventually make it under Kelly.

Here’s just a bit more truth. An appearance in the playoffs won’t be enough. At some point he will need to win a title.

No coach is going to come to a team that fired two national title coaches and a coach that has back to back 10 win seasons.

We do need to be patient, but we should also expect to see improvements each week.

Last bit of truth. Defense did plenty to win. Offensive playcalling lost the game.

Fair enough.

But if you're going to say Kelly isn't it, you have to give us a better option.

Don’t underestimate how bad O left this program
Still feeling those effects especially at key positions

there are a grand total of three active head coaches that have won national championship

three of them
Dabo, Kirby and Mack Brown
its a hard job

first I want LSU to be consistent Top 20
then I want consistent Top 10
then NC race will take care of itself
I think we will be Top 20 this year, lets see after that

I wonder if in 2028 we will still be told that Kelly not winning big games is Coach O’s fault?

I wonder if in 2028 you’ll still be pining for a coach that went 5-5 then 6-7 and got fired.

He said himself to judge him in Year 3. Here we are. But just so I'm on the same page with the rest of the board, how many more years does Kelly need to get the roster to where it needs to be? Let's not forget that his initial defensive hires are the primary reason our defensive roster is in the shape that it's in right now. 5 more years? 10? When is the roster O left him no longer an excuse?

Expectations should be high for a coach that is making 10 mil a year

No, not in year 3 now. What we really need is to be pissed and keep making louder noise to get this fake dude out of Louisiana. I don’t care about his feelings. He’s rich. He can go cry into his cash pillow.

Kelly is one of the best in CFB. It’s ok to still be a believer and be concerned about some of his decisions. Sunday night was as disappointed as I’ve been in his decision making.

Least he admitted he needs to do a better job. He’s right about that.

This is such a stupid talking point. Both of those guys deserved to get fired AND the next coach will always think he can win with our players/talent base. You're crazy if you think anyone will turn down the LSU job because of what you said.
