Glock 19 if you don’t mind something a little bigger. Best all around gun for quality/size/reliability/price

When I don’t carry the G19 I go for my Sig P365. A little smaller, but still easy to shoot and easy to carry.

I can’t speak to others because I haven’t carried anything else. I’ll let others say if the 100s of other options are legit.

I've got a Taurus G2C that for a cheapo is pretty solid. Leaning towards a 19 cause it doesn't seem that much bigger than 43x.

Pretty much what this guy said. The options are endless nowadays but these are my favorite two pistols.

I have a S&W bodygaurd .380 for a pocket pistol. Really like it. Not bulky and throw it in your pocket.

Inside the waistband, I have a Springfield Armory XDSs single stack 9. Great thin gun that is easy to carry. Shoots really well.

Glock g43x with a holosun red dot is my preferred right now.
It’s compact and with the red dot it’s accurate enough to shoot armadillo’s at 20-30yd, ten rd is enough ammo to fight anything besides a jihad and I can keep 2-3 spare mags with me or on me if I want to.
A double stack 15rd gun is heavy and blocky for carrying EDC.

Going to be difficult to find something that checks all the boxes as this one does in whatever variant you prefer.

Got a few I really like. Sig p365 is hard to beat. Glocks, ruger LCP, compact 1911s all in my line up. 365 is the one I carry 99% of the time. The size, capacity, and ease of shooting are top notch

The the 43x definitely is a more comfortable carry. I moved from a shield to the 43x and the shield’s been in the safe since.

That said, I don’t think anybody would try to talk you out of a 19. If I could only have one gun, it would be a 19.

Edit…the shield and the 43x carry identical for me. I just never cared for the shield.

It's bigger where it matters. Which is the thickness. The knock on the 43x is that Glock doesn't have a 15 rd mag. You can get the aftermarket ones, but some have had issues.

I carry a Springfield Hellcat Pro 95% of the time. The standard Hellcat is too small. I wish the ported Hellcat Pro was available when I purchased as it looked awesome. I'll carry my Glock 19x in the winter.

I love my 43x. It’s small and light enough that even with a red dot and streamlight, it still carries well.
