Yeah it’s definitely the off season lol. I don’t know how long we can keep this team together but I’m really excited to see Murray, CJ, BI, Herb, Trey and Zion all on the same the team.

Brandon I have news for you….no one in the NBA values all that highly as evidenced by the shite market for you.

Would we even be willing to pay BI this... for the next 4 years?...I have my doubts

No idea but I would say he needs a 3 year. He ain’t exactly breaking consecutive gp records. However if he can stay healthy, he has showed flashes of kd, so yeah, right now…. But what will he do in October?

There is no deal to be done and the only people we are negotiating against is ourselves. I would give Ingram, at most, a 3Y/100M deal right now, just to secure the asset. That would make him an attractive piece for other teams to acquire via trade, since it's possibly a future bargain.

I can understand if he wants to bet on himself and make it to the market as an UFA. I don't see his market being great next summer, but even then teams will need us for a sign and trade. The problem, I see, is that we don't need additional salary coming in from him, since Murphy's new money would go into that slot. We needed to flip him for picks and a serviceable Center. Too late for that now. It's probably best to just let him walk, money wise (Ala Paul George)..

Once he becomes a free agent next summer, why will teams need us for a sign and trade?

Won't he be free to sign with anyone willing to agree to pay him what he wants?

Your value is what the market will pay. Right now we can’t get a couple second round picks and a role player.

Because of the salary cap. Teams with cap space are usually ones in rebuilding mode. Most players at Ingram's stage of his career look for winning to go along with money. If he wants to go to a playoff caliber team he will likely need to do so in a S&T.

That being said, a S&T is not going to net you much in return, especially if you don't want the contracts they have to send back and need to involve other teams to facilitate and take a cut of the deal.

Brandon Ingram is just a lazy bum. Dude cares more about getting high than winning games.

That’s very good. Hopefully he forces their hand to trade him. Time to cut bait

Hey BI if you want out then agree to a reasonable 1 year extension, not $50 million a year. He’s fricking insane if he thinks he’s worth that. Help the team trade you if you want out instead of hindering those efforts. I would put his arse coming off the bench if he’s going to pout and we are going to lose him for nothing anyway. I’m ready to be done with him and BI used to be one of my favorite Pels but he’s become a little bitch lately.

I’ve been saying for months now, this will be the Zo situation all over again. We will get pennies on the dollar.

I’m just really curious if the Hawks didn’t want Ingram in the Murray trade and we could have kept DD and our firsts but Griff thought he could get a better haul back on the open market. And now it’s blown up in his face. No reason for the Hawks not to want to pair him with Trae. They get a secondary playmaker that doesn’t play the same position.

I really think he just signs with the Nets next offseason.

Griff better hope he stays healthy and shows out before the trade deadline. It’s unlikely but our only hope. If he becomes a bitch, I’d just glue his arse to the bench and tank his value for his free agency.
