If tweet fails to load, click here. Looks really good, again. He's definitely put in work. Crazy how his height compares to those other guys though

zion might be a legit 6'5".
this might be just about peak zion. if he can hold firm to this standard, he can really have a stellar next 8-10 year career.

He doesn’t look that much shorter to me.

Yes? He plays PF and 2 of the other guys don't, just kinda funny to see in regular clothes.

it took him long enough, but i am very glad to see he took ownership of his health/weight and made a business decision and it's paying off, for now...
he legit could be an MVP candidate, at some point, if he stays healthy... maybe not this year, but definitely in the near future

I know we say this a lot and I want to believe this, but he will have to make a massive leap. This past season, he put up 23/6/5. Those are solid numbers, for a good wing. Doncic put up 34/9/10 and he finished 3rd.
You start going through all of the former MVP level guys. Giannis won his 1st MVP at 24 with 28/13/6 plus over a steal and block per game, as an elite defender. Zion has to do more than just score, unless he's going to put up 35+ per game. That's the only way he's sniffing a MVP..

MVP has less to do with counting stats these days. If he can get up to 27/7/6 while playing good D and having highlight reel dunks/blocks, which i think is entirely possible, then it will come down to our team record.
If we are top 3 seed in the west and he does everything mentioned above, he will 100% be in the MVP conversation

When the NBA made everyone measure players without shoes on a few years ago he was listed as 6'6 without shoes. Taller than Draymond, PJ Tucker, and Grant Williams.

Well the nba is positionless and if there are physical requirements I’d thing weight/strength are more important than height at this point. Everybody’s tall

That's just not true. Tatum finished with 27/8/5 on the best team in the league. He finished in 6th place and was never seriously in the conversation. The year before, when he had bigger numbers at 30ppg, he was getting some attention.
Numbers still matter. Zion has to be at 30+ per game or start ripping down 12-15 rebounds a game, to go along with 25+. It's a deep field full of guys that put up crazy numbers..

For sure, I'm a bit more cautious. You want to get Husky playoff experience. You want him available and in good health in May. He doesn't need to put up crazy numbers in the regular season.

Perhaps the Chinese can make him taller.
