All the cops can do is take action on the information available. What you are asking, the judicial system should work out.

When it’s a DV someone is going to jail 99% of the time. After OJ in the 90’s every state changed their DV laws. LEO arrest and let the DA’s sort it out. A lot of times both go to jail.

Good for those cops to not buy her "he hit me" bullshite. She was determined to be the aggressor so she is arrested. Let the judge/court sort that out. But she fully expected to call the cops and tell them that and then he goes to jail.
I can't fathom how people choose to live in situations like that. He said that wasn't the first time she had hit him, and I believe him.

he obviously had real signs of getting hit on the head vs her red pretend rub mark from a male hitting her supposedly.

I feel bad for people in DV situations. Having grown up in that type of shite show I know the impact first hand.
