I thought this was the play too

But not as sure now with how much they're trying to act like she's completely unconnected to the administration

Yep. First female President : Kamala Harris.

How dare you vote against the first female President? You must be sexist.

Rinse and repeat until November.

What will she do as President in October that will make a positive difference in a month? If there's nothing, then they will wait. No use in officially putting her on the record if she can't produce results.

They can push this even harder if she officially takes over. She will have a full inauguration speech and honeymoon period where she can put even more distance between her and Biden.

I think there’s a really good chance this is going to be the October surprise. It will be weeks of wall to wall coverage of her coronation.

100% will happen. That would give kamala some last minute attention and they could capitalize on the 1st female president schtick. Many idiots would rally behind that like they did for Obama being the first black guy. Media would lap it up and pretend she's so trendy and cool, unlike Biden, and distract everyone from the fact that she is an unqualified idiot.

Democrats have no policies to run on. Identity politics, propaganda, and cheating is what they do. Expect a lot of that in the coming months.

Kamala going down in history as the first woman president. This could also be a good indication there's no way in Hell KH is going to win in November and the Democrats are regrouping for '28. That would be the smart move.

The DNC shot callers must have something on Joe that they used to force him out. I'm guessing they leveraged charges against his son and the 25th amendment in order to force him out. It would explain why Kamala was handpicked. She had to get on board in order for the 25th amendment to work.

"Biden's legacy!" and the sacrifice made by him.... I'd love to audit the Biden books for the next few years.

Not sure that’s a good campaign strategy

As long as she’s VP, they can cover for her and say the problems are all Biden.

She takes over as POTUS, then she owns the economy, the border and all the problems in Ukrain, Middle East and elsewhere.

Plus the election immediately loses its historical edge because there will already be a woman President

It wouldn’t happen until after the election and I don’t know what the point would be. Plus he has pardons to dish out and isn’t calling it early for nothing

Why would she want to go in as an "incumbent" when she's been trying to (tacitly) distance herself from Biden?

No, he won't resign before elections. He will be pardoning everyone on his way out the door and there is no way he'll being doing this before the election.
