What happened to buying Greenland?

Some of you are clicking this thread thinking it’s a gotcha or a joke but I’m serious.
Of the many brainstorming riffs that Trump has I feel like this was something that was forgotten. This was a solid idea that was ridiculously mocked. Some of his riffs are winners and some are losers but this was a winner of an idea.
I’d like to revisit it.

I think the idea was brought up, perhaps feelers were put out, and Denmark and Greenland said no thanks, we prefer not to be part of America.

Shows how retarded people are to mock something just because Trump suggested it. It would be vital North Atlantic ports and provide some real strategic advantages.

It's a fantastic idea. Trump should revisit it. Then a bunch of MAGAs can move there in sufficient numbers to turn it from a territory to a state.
