Where does Lightning Crashes by Live rank for you in your 90’s alternative top 10?

Great song and underrated group.
I think the group and this song gets overshadowed by Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STP, Alice In Chains, etc…

They're hit or miss for me.
I really like some songs (White, Discussion) and had the enjoyment of some beat out of me by radio repetition (I Will, Lightning Crashes) .
EK was a bit of a weirdo and they didn't have enough band-charisma to overcome that, it seems.

I put Lightning Crashes on the same level as Everybody Hurts by REM; amongst the worst songs and I will actively change the channel whenever they come on.

It was my favorite song as a pre-teen. Still love it. That whole album, Throwing Copper, is amazing. It's such a shame that the band sort of just fizzled out after that. The lead singer has such a great voice, but they could not continue the magic that made Throwing Copper so great.

That's like saying Bea Arthur gets overshadowed in the looks department by Halle Berry, Elle Macpherson, Heidi Klum, Rihanna, etc.

I think it's up there. It's one of my favorite songs on one of my favorite albums ever, Throwing Copper to me had nothing but bangers. But like someone mentioned, because of their charisma, they faded a bit not too long after that. I still overall like their music and like Kowalczyk's voice.
