I am quite fond of this description for a pathological liar.."a factitious disorder".

I think she's totaled. Just take the insurance check and run.

On Monday, July 15, the Muskingum County Prosecutor's Office confirmed that Kesha S. Kennedy, of Zanesville, had "pleaded guilty to felony disrupting public services, felony making false alarms, and 25 counts of misdemeanor misuse of 911 systems," per a news release. The release stated Kennedy had effectively been using "local first responders for her personal entertainment for ambulance rides to the hospital," thus precluding emergency services from responding to actual emergencies.

That is something that something with antisocial personality disorder would do and you can’t fix a personality disorder.

Unfortunately, this abuse is not all that uncommon. I knew someone who worked at one of the hospitals in downtown New Orleans that said that people would frequently call for an ambulance, get transported to the hospital, leave the hospital before they could be evaluated, and then go shopping downtown. They simply used ambulances as free transportation into town.

Woman Called 911 Nearly 400 Times for 'Nonexistent Emergencies,' Once Resulting in Man's Death: 'Serial Abuse'
quote:
A 34-year-old woman in Ohio has pleaded guilty to what prosecutors dubbed "serial 911 abuse" after she made hundreds of calls for nonexistent emergencies, one of which resulted in a person's death.
quote:
On Monday, July 15, the Muskingum County Prosecutor's Office confirmed that Kesha S. Kennedy, of Zanesville, had "pleaded guilty to felony disrupting public services, felony making false alarms, and 25 counts of misdemeanor misuse of 911 systems," per a news release.
The release stated Kennedy had effectively been using "local first responders for her personal entertainment for ambulance rides to the hospital," thus precluding emergency services from responding to actual emergencies.
The court heard that Kennedy had called emergency services nearly 400 times since 2020 for various purported illnesses, ringing multiple times a week and sometimes several times in one day.
Per the release, one call resulted in South Zanesville Fire Department (SZFD) responders being unable to tend to a person who couldn't breathe because the first responders were attending to Kennedy's "fake call."
And another one.

I know a-holes and crazies have always existed, but i feel like society caters to their BS a lot more these days than ever before. In, say, the 1950s, do you think they would have shown up more than a handful of times for BS calls? Nowadays they just keep coming.

Wow, this place is nothing but a bunch of misogynist. Women are always yapping on the phone huh? My ex-husbands have called the police on me before and I don't see any threads about that.
