If tweet fails to load, click here. Damn, 10 million a year, he must have really not wanted to come back because I don’t see how Griff wouldn’t have offered that.

Happy I don’t have to cheer against him on the Lakers
So long sweet prince

That’s a steal for Washington

Poor guy has to play for the wizards. Him and Sarr might be fun together tho

I do. He wasn't a good fit with Zion, and he's only getting older and slower. We want to play fast.

Exactly, good player, just not a good fit here anymore. He is one of my favorite Pels of all time and gave us everything he had at all times. Thanks and congrats Jonas.

The way Willie treated him, there was no way he was coming back. frick Willie for treating him like that. What a putz.

Will never forget when JV looked like Curry for that one game.
Thank you for your service

Yeah, I always liked JV. I think it was just time for both parties. I’m glad he got a fair deal.

Jonas you were a relative warrior for us playing 74, 79, and 82 games.
If Zion and Ingram came close to your durability who knows what the last few years look like.
A great pro for the Pelicans.

Interesting choice by Jonas and the Wizards, unless of course he had not choice. Jonas probably could have found a better team to title content off the bench. And who knows what his role in Washington will be anyway? They drafted Sarr and just resigned Richaun Holmes (apparently a real person) for about 2 and & $26M. I think Badgley is still around? I guess they will bring Sarr along slowly to bulk him up and use the others are trade bait later?

Griffin really believes in 7'0" Liam Robbins SEC defensive player of the year 2023, 6'10" Karlo Matkovic. and drafting 7')' Yves Missi will fix not paying Jonas 10 mil and trading nance. They say Robbins leg is completely healed so thats there 3 Bigs. Summer league will be really interesting???? I don't see it

Sure, offseason is definitely over and there are no more moves to be made. Just like draft night.

If your talking about robbins. hes on the summer league roster.LINK
Pels use the same dentist MID CITY SMILES , and trainers were in there talking about him. Saying his leg was completely healed and hes been in birmingham for the year. Its a (RUMOR) but I would still like an established vet.

Jonas will go down as one of my favorite Pels all time.
Wish him nothing but the best.

Wish Jonas all the best. frick Willie Green. We could have had him back for that price easily and given us time to find our center of the future.

Damn, he must have been offered less elsewhere. I know he did not want to possibly finish his career on a losing team.
There really was no market for a walking 15/10 durable and reliable post player who is a solid locker room guy? 10 mil.?
I know it was time to move on but for some reason that will be the biggest stain on Willie's tenure in N.O. The level of disrespect to such a hard worker and never complained about any of it.
I wish we could of went further in the playoffs for JV.
He might not see another postseason in his career.
