Has there literally been zero discussion as to who we can draft tonight?

Or is it 1000% assumed that this pick is on the move with BI in some sort of package?

It's a shite draft. No one we draft will make an impact this year (or likely ever).

Shamit is predicting Collier. I would love that. Could be the Maxey type steal of the draft.

The pick may be based solely off of who we trade for or change pending that trade.

Beyond that the most realistic scenario is 1/4 centers that we have no clue what order they will be picked. Its kinda just a roll with whoever is there type situation. Other than that the only other scenario/ player hat makes sense at #21 projected is this Carlton Carrington PG.

Pretty much him or best available Center if we pick at 21. Any other pick would essentially be from left field.

If it’s draft picks I’d rather they be for next year’s draft. This one doesn’t have a lot of guys that scream star player to me or even close really.

The assumption if we keep the pick is “whatever center is still on the board”, with Messi being one likely pick.

I almost hope all the centers worth the pick get taken and gives the FO a big frick you.

Maybe we actually try to acquire young proven center talent for once if that happens..

Its already a big F U to the fans knowing we haven't done shite at Center for 10 years and our 1 attempt may be 20's pick in a shite draft AFTER we have 0 centers left on our roster. Thanks for the effort...

The last two first round picks for the Pelicans played a combined 5 minutes in a close out game against the Thunder

I'd have a hard time getting excited about this draft if we had the 5th pick, much less the 21st.

I mean people were saying how awful the 2013 draft class was and it still produced Giannis, Gobert, CJ, Adams, etc.

It is just there is no great player but there could definitely be some diamonds in the rough around 21. Just have to get lucky

Im all in for Tyler Smitth if we stand pat and select at 21. I'm pretty sure Griff WILL NOT select him but he would an ideal target for a big man to have out on the court with Zion or to even back him up as he gets acclimated to the NBA.

I just hope Griff doesn't mess up the pick and select Filipowski or whatever his name is from Duke. And full disclaimer, Im a lifelong Duke fan, but that dude is not who we need.

I’m hoping Edey makes it down to us.

So Shamit in his article mentioned he left the workout he did with us early which was interesting. I wonder if he has a promise to get picked before us.

I actually prefer him over Missi. Missi has a bad tendency to be in bad position and get a lot of fouls. He tries to block everything. Reminds me too much of Jaxson Hayes.

I like Missi but he has such a high chance of being a bust. He is incredibly raw. I like the potential though, he's a freak athlete

I don’t expect him to be there, but where we are picking, that’s who I’d like to get.

Didn't he get a Capella comparison?

I feel like that was a 1 +1 idea. Capella is realistic/ Missi is realistic. Put them together and hope he learns from a similar athletic center.

Just my thoughts on all that
