A lady I work with’s niece and her husband recently had a baby boy and named him “Towns”. They kept the name secret until he was born so no one else would offer any unwanted input.
This makes me think of a boy named Sue. He’s either going to become really tough from being mocked all the time or he’s going to let it traumatize him as he grows up and gets made fun of.

How does Towns compare with Tanner or Kadaverious? That’s the question, I guess.

Will sound exotic in his middle school class. J’ardavious, Manuel, Mohamed, and Keaton will probably not include him in the group chat.

Maybe they had bigger hopes for him than Hamlet.

Never a good sign when you hide it so you won’t be shamed for it

I know a kid named Towns. He is the backup kicker, to Alex McPherson, at Auburn.

Am I the only one who doesn’t think it’s a bad name?
Not great, but not bad either. Not sure why she’d hide it.

I guess it's better than naming a girl that. We really need to stop people from commendering names from different sexes
I recently heard of someone who is naming her daughter a legit males name. Not a unisex name (which I hate) but a legit no way this girl will not live a life of people thinking she is a male by name only. Which will just fuel the stupid "misgendering" stupidity. Ie...naming a girl 'Peter'

Not a terrible name IMO. Now if it was Townz, that would be a different story.

I hope OP is wrong and that it’s actually ‘Townes’ with an E, otherwise that’s just dumb .
