JJ is Reddiculous-ly gay
Bwhahahahahahahahahagahahahahahahahagahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha

No head coaching experience, dysfunctional franchise with high expectations, good buddies with LeBron, poor roster construction and no depth, what could go wrong

Probably doesn't matter. Lebron calls the shots anyway.

HUUUUUGE difference between knowing X’s and O’s and actually being a head coach at the highest level.

The last 2 guys who went from player to head coach with 0 coaching experience were Derek Fisher with the Knicks and Jason Kidd with the Bucks. Both were terrible and both arguably were smarter players.

Don't forget Steve Nash.

The funny thing about Nash is they made the conference finals and could’ve won the title if Durants toe isn’t on the line. But that nets roster was much much better than the Lakers and the east that year is much worse than the west is now.

Also JJ wasn’t a point guard and was never a team leader. At the least the previous guys were point guards and floor generals. JJ isn’t even that.

People overrate X’s and O’s when it comes to coaching experience. The big thing for him is man management and buy in. NBA is an ego-driven league and that’s often what sinks teams.

At least the dude spent some time working as a player development consultant (2015-2020). That's some degree of coaching I can at least argue.

I think you have to have both. JJ already has Lebrons ear- which means he has ADs too. Hes also knows his X and Os.

This issue with Ham and honestly with Willie is the lack of X’s and O’s knowledge.

JJ will be just fine. Knows his stuff plus...has LeBron to help ease the transition into Coaching.

Can JJ even manage ego’s? Don’t remember him doing much of that when he was a player. He didn’t manage any egos with the clippers , and then he demanded a trade when he was here.

Remember, only reason why JJ was even being considered is because he does a podcast with LeBron and he works for espn. Had he stayed out of the spotlight post retirement, he wouldn’t have been considered.

LA Times reported today that cracks had suddenly appeared in the walls of the mausoleum holding Jerry West.
