We all know the bad stuff
Let’s list the good stuff
Food
MG Jazzfest FQ fest other festivals
City Park (much nicer than before Katrina)
Audubon Park
Zoo and Aquarium
Saengar Theatre Orpheum
French Quarter ( during the day only )
Warehouse District
Beaches less than 4 hrs away
Convenient upgraded airport with a decent amount of direct flights especially for size of the city
Professional sports teams
Sugar Bowl
60 minute drive to LSU sports
Easy to take a cruise from if you want don’t have to fly to Miami
Easy access to hunting and fishing
Architecture
WW 2 museum
historic churches
PORT NOLA expansion
Weather from October 1 to May 15 ( after that miserable)
2 medical schools with another one on the way and a another tertiary care hospital with Ocshner main
Children’s Hospital expansion
Zurich Classic
St Michael’s special school ( phenomenal place for children)

Lots of great stuff for a mid size city with horrible political leadership

Which is why you live in Metairie, St Charles, St Tammany, etc and be close enough to enjoy these things without putting up with the issues.

You didn’t want to include the vibrant cultures of the West Bank and New Orleans east?

I love New Orleans.

I don’t like the current leader, but I love the city. I’m sure the OT will provide reasonable and well thought out responses to this.

Followed by a 4-5 hour drive home after football games due to the horrible traffic flow.

Sno Balls. So much better than sno Cones

Sailing on Lakefront or eating out there on deck on water ( Blue Crab and Felix’s food pretty good but atmosphere outside with nice weather pretty cool)
