Haven’t watched this since it came out but to my surprise it not only holds up really well but almost resonates even more now than it did 15 years ago (I know, it was an Oscar Best Picture nominee).

Also, the cast is kind of great:
Clooney, Kendrick, Bateman, Farmiga

And then you get random bit parts from Galifianakis, JK Simmons, and Sam Elliott

It’s still an interesting premise and surprisingly way more funny than I remember. Almost like if Fight Club wasn’t trying to be an overt parody.

It’s one of those movies that plays to the strength of every main actor in it.

Clooney’s smooth fast-paced dialogue.

Kendrick plays the neurotic, too smart for her own good character well.

Farmiga’s cool demeanor and she really played the “I need a second life but I don’t want you to know it” insecurity well.

The only one out of character was Bateman, but he can play pretty much anything.

All around a great watch.

Yeah, it's a very good movie. I've seen it many times but it never gets old.

His Backpack philosophy....not saying I agree with it, but I understand where he is coming from.

Haven't seen this movie in years, but I remember it being fantastic. Clooney's best role IMO.

Ryan showing up at Alex’s house was a great but depressing scene.

Love this movie. Once I started traveling for work, I took a lot of his advice and it helped. It also made me really want to travel all the time like he did.

Yeah that is a great movie. It is hard to call it under rated given it was nominated for Oscar and w.e. Some movies get better with age and that is definitely one that does

He was right about preferring to get directly behind Asians going through security at the airport. They are fast & don’t waste time

I have traveled for 21 years for my job - and surprisingly I have never seen this movie. i'd be interested to watch and see what he imparts as "travel wisdom" that I figured out on my own.

behind asians is perfect advice, as is not being in line behind anyone with kids. after so may years traveling, I can pretty much spot those that I do not want to be behind in TSA.
