Ah, the annual thread where I get downvoted into oblivion.

Everybody celebrates this a-hole as some sort of hero. His local government failed him, no question, but he put a lot of innocent people in harm's way that day and ended up being a fricking coward.

Is someone supposed to just be bullied and pushed around by the state/city gov, just roll over and let them do what they want, when they want?

I'd be willing to bet they think twice about having no regards to one's property, business or way of life since that has happened.

you should research this more, he wasnt innocent in this whole thing

i used to be all about KD until i researched it more

still support the mantra and the overall theme of sometimes reasonable men sometimes have to do unreasonable things because the government is being unreasonable

Not just any Killdozer Day, the 20th anniversary of Killdozer Day.

Also of note, WhistlinDiesel bought a Komatsu D355 dozer and is supposed to be building a Killdozer replica with it. Even hauled it to Granby, CO after he picked it up.

i'm going to need some further clarification of your term "putting people in harm's way".

did he actively try to kill someone or just take down a building where people had plenty of time to get away from a bulldozer going 3mph?

“The most terrifying force of death comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it.

They know that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. The moment the Men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these Men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives.

They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy… but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone!”

He was shooting out of the holes in his dozer (and fired directly at several cops IIRC), and I believe at one point he was trying to shoot a large propane tank that was near lots of people. He did not actually kill anybody, but it's silly to think he wasn't trying to (or at the very least, doing things that could have very easily hurt or killed innocent people).

ETA:
quote:

Heemeyer next targeted a propane storage yard, firing fifteen bullets at the tanks, some of which contained 30,000 U.S. gallons (110,000 L). Police were forced to hurriedly evacuate all residents within a thousand yards of the site, including a senior housing complex. Heemeyer then fired upon nearby power transformers, with a high risk of igniting the tanks, but struggled to find a good angle. Heemeyer hit the transformers once and missed his other shots. "Had these tanks ruptured and exploded, anyone within one-half mile (800 m) of the explosion could have been endangered", the sheriff's department said. Twelve police officers and residents of a senior citizens complex were within such a range.[5] After leaving, he was engaged by another scraper, which he similarly defeated.

Is trusting the experts being bullied now? If you don’t like what the government is doing just run for office. Oh wait, no one will vote for a bigot that’s on the wrong side of history
