Kid's stuff has looked fantastic lately. His ceiling sure seems high.

Great freshman class!

Yes, just like Hurd was a lock to be a weekend starter this season.

Not a lock, but one of the top candidates. Along with Herring (if he doesn't go pro) and Chase Shores. As well as anyone they grab from the portal, of which there are already a couple candidates.

He's got two SEC caliber pitches. Frankly, I thought he'd be in the rotation this year.

But, for whatever reason, he seemed to get hit around during the middle of the year.

If he's able to add a 3rd pitch, I don't know how he wouldn't be an effective starter. And, if his body fills out naturally, watch out.

Will get the opportunity then it comes down to performance in SEC games, the same as everyone else

Anderson has all the makings of an All-SEC pitcher. Dude was nails for us yesterday

Yeah he's still got that high school lanky body. If he adds a good 15 lbs, he's going to be a monster.

Really high on this kid.

No question. This staff has a lot of potential next season, just need to see some depth from multiple starters.

KA has potential to be the ace if this staff as a soph. His stuff is incredible! Would love to see another pitch developed though. Change or a cutter would be dynamic with his power and placement. Kid is elite!

That's exciting to think about. Shores coming back could be a huge domino for next year. He was doing great last year before he went down

Jay always speaks super highly of him, like he shouldnt be in college and only is because of that injury he had in high school.

I think its pretty clear if you have a rotation for next year it starts with looking at Shores, Herring and Anderson. This is before any portal adds we might have. Also who knows what Jaden Noot will look like too, remember, he was actually ranked just ahead of Shores coming in...and both Noot and Shores will be 100% full go's this fall, so we should learn a lot more then.

Edit - forgot to mention any possible stud freshmen we actually get to campus as well.

Just his control and command, which is normal for young players. You end up walking some guys then leaving pitches over the middle of the plate, D1 players will make you pay.

His K/9 is insane for anyone, much less a freshman. He’s got a bright future ahead of him!

The top two starter candidates that we're on, that aren't draft eligible, are Myles Patton from Long Beach and Joseph Dzierwa from Michigan State. Both lefties. Dzierwa is 6'7" and skinny.

If he can develop a reliable 3rd pitch he can be all-SEC

I made a post about him during the SEC tournament and said I believe he can elevate his game if given the opportunity; he has done that. I believe his future is bright!

What do you think about the Samford ace? The K/9 isn’t great, but he will probably be in the SEC next year.
