Which Sci-Fi Future Are We Headed For?

There has been so many different future outcomes for the world portrayed in Sci-Fi movies. We've got bright and hopeful future as seen in Star Trek, a lot of post apocalyptic variations such as Mad Max, Hunger Games, Fallout, Logans Run and so on. We have rise of the machines like Terminator, Blade Runner, I Robot.
What Movies/Tv Shows do you think our world will most like end up?
As much as I would love Star Trek I'm thinking more like Blade Runner,
Thoughts?

Does 1984 count as science fiction since they have technology to erase memories and feelings?
Though now that I think about it, I'm not sure if they ever did a 1984 in movie or TV form.

We’re practically at the Hunger Games already.

Black Mirror. Eye implants, social credit scores, dramatically real VR, and so forth. I just don't see a nuclear wasteland happening.

We're pretty much in Hunger Games right now.
We're way too far away from Star Trek. Need an infinite energy source is the main thing and if humanity somehow invented it the powers at be would suppress it for as long as possible for profits.

Idiocracy, but instead of Brawndo, it will be Amazon.

Idiocracy is the correct answer. We're well on the way now

Way ahead of schedule really

Terminator for sure, but there are a lot of fricked up intermediate stages along the way there.

Who's ready to eat rats with Dennis Leary?
Because we're definitely headed towards the Demolition Man future

I say something like Fallout, because the rich people have already begun separating themselves from the rest of us. They're investing in "clean energy" and buying up farmland When you see them putting up moats outside their gated communities, you'll realize we're getting close.
My advice for young people is to enlist, and serve in some form of Special Forces, then retire and start up your own company with your crew, as a private military contractor to protect some CEO or congressman's family. If the movies are realistic, you'll need to know how to kill, to stay alive. You will have been trained for that world.
