Pope tells bishops not to accept gays into seminary; too much “frociaggine” already

He finally has a momentary lapse and tells the truth, lol. The “lavender mafia” has taken over the church. Early in my life I was against married priests, because in places like the US it would be a nightmare with the way most women want divorces. I was wrong. It’s the only way to bring masculinity back in the church. The church is way too feminized. It’s a disaster.

queers have never been openly ordained in the catholic church like they have been in the northern baptist, episcopal, presbyterian, lutheran, and i guess now methodist.

Don't worry. The Episcopalians/Anglicans and Methodists will take them.

You could've just said "like they have been in every single Protestant denomination". Over-generalizations are acceptable when true.

On this the Pope and I agree.

Let priests get married. It would solve a lot of problems.
Recruit from a broader base of candidates for one.

it's too effeminate because theres not enough of us men willing to put God before our desires. really nothing masculine about having sex. there are 8 billion people on the planet. procreating doesn't make one masculine. there are a lot of good men in the priesthood, especially the latin mass community.
while i think there are worse things than allowing married priests, i think we'd just be trading gay freeloaders for straight freeloaders. most protestant preachers i know are just glorified used car salesmen looking for an easy living.
would be better just to have fewer priests than allow married priests. us laity can pick up the slack within our communities. i'm calling myself out here as well, but we need more deacons, not more priests. could cleanse the Church of gay clergy and not miss a beat.

a lot of it has to do with communism/the left and their infiltration into our institutions in the early to mid 20th century. a lot of it has been allowed because a lot of operatives infiltrated the Church with the sole mission of undermining everything good about it. a lot of people point to vatican II, but that was just the culmination of a gay/leftist agenda that was purposefully put into place a short time before the bolshevik revolution in russia.

The rule has always been that you can have any sexual orientation you want. But you can't do the act. Priests take a vow to abstain.
The problem started in the 70s when seminaries started excusing gay students for getting some butt when they should have been expelled.

Scripture is very clear on the gays.

yes it is. repeatedly.

Yeah I'm coming back around to not even being cool with gays. Proven slippery slope ("normal" gays did frick all to reign in the TQ+'s) and even "normal" homosexuality is abhorrent behaviour when you stop and think about it.

Why the change of heart? I thought the Pope was an advocate of frociaggine. Didn't he give his blessings to same-sex couples?
