LINK

They have LSU headed to UC Santa Barbara (16 overall seed) and would be paired in the Super Regional with Tennessee (1 overall seed),

LSU still projected as a 3 seed in the regionals. Keep winning in the SECT and we're moving up to a 2 seed.

interesting they have Oregon St falling to a 2 seed
Arizona is also pretty close to a one seed and you know the NCAA will send LSU to Arizona if it comes to that

Solidly in is all that matters. LSU just needs the chance the way theyre playing right now.

We always get sent to West coast for regionals so landing in the UCSB regional would make sense.

Wouldn’t mind that at all. I’ll probably end up driving up to Knoxville if we play there in the supers

Good. All of our Cali players will feel at home and Jay won’t have to worry about rainouts.

The Gauchos have a stadium capacity of 1,000. There aren’t enough parking spots for LSU’s RV’s much less seats for the fans.

The amount of times LSU has been sent out west for regionals has to have everything to do with getting LSU as far away from their fanbase as possible, so that our fans don't ruin the home field advantage. No fanbase in college baseball travels like ours, and I remember hearing our fans overpowering the Oregon fans in the '21 regional.

I know this is just a prediction, but what gives with the selections committee repeatedly sending LSU to the west coast for regionals? Is it because LSU travels better than anyone else?

I know we were in Hattiesburg two years ago, but they love sending us to California and Oregon.

I selfishly wanted Stillwater… I booked a room and it’s driveable from Houston

Everyone will bitch about going to the west coast but I am always jealous watching those games with the fans in long sleeves and usually some nice surroundings.

Garbage.

That would make us the 35th best team in their eyes. I think we stay in the SE. UF will be sent packing out West before we will IMO. I think we go to either NC State, Virginia, OK State or FSU.

Our old friends Oregon State.
Basically, they expect LSU to win that Regional.

Why do they insist on sending LSU to the west coast every year they don’t host?

Baseball America tries to do the exact opposite of what D1 does. Pay attention to where D1 has us.
