How many in the SEC tourney to remove the sweat?

Recent history says it doesn’t really matter. LSU is (likely) in or out right now

Kendall Rogers thinks it doesn’t matter, which is good.
If we win two that puts us with wins over the 6 seed and potentially 3 seed (or 2/7 seed). That feels like it will really help the RPI over any hurdles.

1 win would absolutely secure it, but I don't think this team would be happy just winning 1 game. If we can beat the then ranked #1 team in the land 2 out of 3 times, we can win the tourney. We're hitting the ball better than we did when we played aggy, and our relief pitching has turned the corner and become tremendously better. Let's win the whole fricking thing.

Every little bit helps.
If Auburn can beat Bama tonight, that will drop Bama a game behind us. That would no doubt hurt Bama’s chances , which in turn improves our chances.
If we had only won just one more SEC game, like the close losses to Bama and Florida, we would probably be in for sure.
That said, considering where we were four weeks ago, we are fortunate to even be having this conversation.
If Auburn can beat Bama tonight, that will drop Bama a game behind us. That would no doubt hurt Bama’s chances , which in turn improves our chances.
If we had only won just one more SEC game, like the close losses to Bama and Florida, we would probably be in for sure.

Don’t know why you are getting downvoted. The SEC tournament is totally and completely meaningless in terms of getting in, or out, of the NCAA’s.
In 2022, Ole Miss finished 13-17. Went 0-1in Hoover, made the NCAA’s.
In 2021, LSU & Georgia finished 13-17 in the SEC, had almost identical RPI’s. Georgia beat LSU in Hoover and knocked LSU out of the SEC tournament. Well… LSU made the NCAA’s while Georgia sat at home.

with bama losing to auburn, at least they are now.....they would be 12-18....not getting in. I think SEC gets 10 in. LSU is one of the hottest teams in the SEC over the last 5 weeks. I can't imagine them being left out. But, whoever we play in the trny game 1 could be elimination game.
