Is he?
Im giving him the edge due to his playoff experience and championship.

Imo taking a team to the conf championship as a #1 is at least as impressive as winning a title as a #2 with Lebron as the #1.
Kyrie has done a whole lot of nothing in the playoffs since winning with Lebron. That's why this postseason has been so surprising from him.

You could easily argue that but he was absolutely crucial in that cleveland title run.

Yeah agreed. It seemed like he was hurt most of the time. But we can say Trae has done nothing since that conf title run as well.
But if im choosing between the two Im taking Kyrie over Trae. Could that change in the near future? Sure. But right now, I just feel Kyrie is the better player.

Kyrie is also 6 years older than Trae.
Trae is just starting the prime of his career at 25 (26 when the season starts) years old. Trae still has ALOT of room he can grow to reach his final form

Yeah that definitely can be true. Like I said Trae in the right situation can do a lot of good things but currently despite the age difference Kyrie is the better player.
To me as a pelicans fan hes a star thats available for us to get. I personally think we should try to get him. Lets see what Griff does.

*offensively
his athleticism and frame create hard limits on defense.

Bi to Atlanta, hawks first to Cleveland, Allen and Murray to pelicans

I don’t think BI by himself will get us Murray and Jarrett Allen.

Would Atlanta shop out Murray and a first for BI? Would Cleveland give up Allen for atlantas first?
It’s not that cut and dry for a three team deal
ETA: essentially it’s Murray and a first for BI, then we flip the first to Cleveland for Allen. Plus fillers if necessary

I don’t think they would include the first.

The hawks are not giving up the first overall pick in the draft and Murray just to get BI.
I dont think Atl gives up that much or thats enough for Cleveland. Im also assuming its not this years first- ATL has first overall pick.

Why respond to two different questions with the same answer? A bit redundant ey?

Sure ok. My point was that trade is not advantageous for either Cleveland or Atlanta. If Griffin pulls that off we all should kiss his arse.

I don't view White as a realistic option.
The Bulls have Derozan. White is an up and coming dude...
Why would they want BI?
That's just not a team where a potential BI deal is viable for White, I just don't see the path.

Ownership and/or the front office could potentially be retarded.
Hence Atlanta claiming they are potentially doing a full rebuild when they don’t control their picks for several seasons. San Antonio gonna get some great picks if they absolutely suck.

People proposing the Hawks trading picks don’t know about the Hawks’ available picks.
1st overall this year is their only “available” pick for several years outside of one from Sacramento from the Huerter trade which is lottery protected.

I wonder if the Bulls would consider tanking? Send BI to a team with a top 5 pick and send that pick for White? The Bulls owe their 2025 pick to the Spurs, but it is top 10 protected then top 8 for a few years before becoming 2nds. Get a guy that can maybe be a #2 or #3 and then tank for a few years hoping to draft a #1.
