Reminds me of opening day at Lacassine.
Small boat tiller handle racing use to be a big thing down in Grand Chenier.

Skinny water jet boating is fun as hell.

Aside from her azz, she appears fearless and her skills are extraordinary.

Imagine having a partner like this instead of the typical smart phone addicted woman.

Too bad these folks aren't governing Australia.

this is similar to how the duck hunters in Arkansas get to their duck holes...except with 25's

A slight mistake and both lose their heads on those togh5 turns on the creeks. Yikes! I did watch it all for the wow factor.

I really like his counter weight...

Someone needs to tell those guys about jack plates..

Guy by our camp had a 12' flat with a Mariner 40 Magnum on it, it ran in the high forties...

First, those Australians can be a crazy bunch. They're one hit stump away from turning a boat race into a flying race.

And that boat is actually a sex platform that they happen to race on the weekends. You know that ol' boy goes home and tells the blonde to get the helmet and life jacket on, and hit the bow. It's sexy time, baby!

What purpose does the person at the front of the boat serve (other than being hot)? Is it primarily navigating? Steering?

Pretty sure at those speeds and tree branches the helmet will only determine if it's a closed casket or open casket if you hit one.

Can't imagine how fun it'd be to hangout in one of those camps on the river, drink beer all day, cook, and watch these clowns race. When is the OT organizing a trip?

Hey we need to get on plane. Go jump up and down at the front of the boat.

yeah, no. I wouldn't ride up front in that if Jesus Christ himself were driving.

Chick's got a lot of faith.

That is some crazy tiller steering ... and then throw the arse distraction into the mix. Two rules for the bow person. 1. Keep your head down and in the boat at all times. 2. Don't violate rule 1.
