Guessing people sell earlier this time, be curious to see how long this one runs. Did people learn their lesson last time by not holding the bag?
Funny you think they would have learned about the circuit breakers in the stock market last time.

People complaining about the halt are hilarious.
I understand shady stuff happens, and definitely did happen last time, but halting a stock like GME that runs 100% for essentially no reason in a matter of 30 minutes is absolutely necessary.
There aren't enough orders and volume way up there above it's regular trading range to create an equal market in that short of a time frame. It has to get halted, that's not a "oh crap we have to protect our short positions" move, it's a "the marketplace is just not designed to handle this" kind of move.
I don't have a dog in this fight and I'd probably be bitching about the halt if I was heavy GME as well, but realistically what are they even expecting? They think it's going to run to $100 if it didn't get halted and just stay there for weeks cause that is a fair market value? No. It's gonna crash back down immediately, regardless of the halt. Good luck executing a sale at the peak in that chaos.

Where is the dude from here who never sold or stopped buying and has been trying for years to get others on TD.com to buy?

Jan 2021 all over again. Etrade website and mobile are both down and from what I understand Schwab has been having problems too.

Musical chairs. Don’t miss out on a seat.
I do enjoy these short squeezes but don’t personally participate.

Just watched Dumbmoney and have a few extra hundred I've been waiting to throw on something. Let's get to the moon!

Dammit. I was just reading about this ongoing GME battle and almost bought 1000 shares a couple weeks ago. Some article about the SEC trying to end the meme stock phenomenon to "protect" investors. Congrats, I may still buy some in support.

So what exactly is the play here?
Did he have to stay silent for X amount of time with what occurred? Now he is free to tweet etc again?
I'm lost in this, but definitely along for the ride.

I'd guess he has just been sitting back and watching and waiting for the wall street monsters to create another exploitable situation and now he is getting everyone ready to pounce when the time is right.

Halting the purchase & sale of GME is only going to fuel this stock again.
