Maybe? Probably not

But I’m not masochist enough to want to prolong this season any longer

I do.

If they were in the big X or the ACC, they’d have more wins.

They’d still not make it to the supers, but they’d make the 64.

If they win 4 more games yes. They will have earned it.

The SEC is brutal and that would still be a heck of a finish.

Absolutely. They would beat the crap out of 25 teams in the "64." I get they want to let in teams from half-assed conferences, but even this crappy LSU team would pound them. There are a shite ton of charity picks let in every year.

So you think this isn’t one of the top 40 teams in college baseball? The body of work of losing to teams that are better than them isn’t terrible. They’ve played a bunch of top 20 teams. Unfortunately we are in a great conference and that means we may be a top 25 to 30 team but not finish well enough in our conference.
Which really means something is wrong with the way the tourney is done. Like everything else, it needs to change and evolve to make sure the actual best 64 teams are in, or at least the top 45 best.

NO, absolutely not. Best case at this point is 12-18 in SEC with a Straight Garbage Non-Conference Schedule. Only hope is to win the SEC Tourney.

I mean this team just won a series against the best team in the country. Do you think there are 63 other teams that can do it?

Truth never swayed many Tards This team never got any mojo and then it became apparent the pitching and holes in the lineup were reality. Never had an edge just cashed their checks and put on the uni like paid subs they are . Get used to it

Honestly, yes, I do. The resume of this team shows that they aren't capable of consistently beating top tier teams but anyone below that they've tended to handle fairly easily. If thrown into a regional of a non-national seed they would probably have a close to 50% chance to take it. Should they make a super their chances would be..... Low.

The reality is though that the résumé of this team to this point isn't really good enough to get them in. Winning out and/or sweeping through or at least a deep run in the SEC tourney would probably have us just on the inside of the bubble but I honestly don't see either happening. It's unfortunate because we've had a lot of really close losses that could have made the conversation very different. We've also had some really bad Sunday blowouts.

Honestly yes. Seeing who gets in LSU has better talent regardless of record.

No, but they’re not far away, so a couple lucky bounces could put them in.

Really proud of this team. They showed a lot of fight. Definitely proved me wrong. They have a lot of heart.
