Why don't people let their adult children handle their own problems?

There's always posts about the problems with the youth of today but there's also a lot of people who ask for advice or outright intervene with their over 18 year old children.
Doing things like calling lawyers for them, some people have parents who call college professors, or work interventions.
Why not let those adult children make their own mistakes, figure out the solution, and pay for the consequences?

Because some people care about their children.

Asking what can be done versus fixing the problems are two different things.

You don’t stop being a parent just because your children turn 18. I’d help my child find a good lawyer, maybe even call one I’ve used before. The other things you mentioned I would not do. I will always offer sound advice when I feel it’s needed and will consider offering help when it’s requested.

Why do you think majority of them are all soy boys. It’s because of their parents

Or they realize they screwed
Up and get guilted into helping.

Because, absent a serious moral failure, it is difficult to allow someone you love suffer through hardship knowing full well that you can mitigate it in a significant way.

Reminds me of time I was 17 and got pulled over. I’d been drinking and was legally drunk. I knew the officer and he told me to call my momma. I said no, I’ll call anyone else but her, but he said nope, gotta call her. I was sitting on the tailgate and all of a sudden got caught with a right hook. Before I could say anything I had a couple kicks in the ribs and momma was in my face. She’s a paramedic, retired now, but they done called her for me, lol. After that light arse whooping and cussing of how stupid I was and her telling me how she drags idiots like me out of wrecks all the time, I went to jail. Lost my licenses for 90 days and was on probation for a year,
Momma taught me a lesson that night…

How bad was your childhood?

Pretty much sums up the reason why young people vote for free shite. They never learned how to take care of themselves.

Ironic that OP is a giant lib that thinks minorities need assistance from cradle to grave.

My mom hit me once. Once.

Why do some people say that cucumbers taste better than pickles?

Perhaps we want out of government what we didn't get as children. Freedom or subsidization

That's a pretty broad example, and I doubt you had anything figured out until you were closer to 25

My sister gets bailed out repeatedly by my dad. To
Him it’s about making sure his grandkids aren’t impacted by her decisions.
I got a $1500 security deposit for my first apartment out of college, and nothing sense. I think this year alone she’s gotten $30k in bailout money.

My dad is in his 70s, I'm in my 40s. Him helping me with a problem shouldn't be a problem. That is just how my family is. It would suck not knowing my parents are there. Same with the wife's family. I could call her dad right now for help and he would be here asap.
Wtf is wrong with some of you?
