Thanks for all the advice guys. Not looking at that boat specifically, also looking at older trawlers. Would be a joint venture with a friend that lives DTR. Mostly would use as a camp with the occasional trip down the river for glamping on the beach. ...

Yes, hence why I'm getting the government sponsored forgiveness when I signed up for them years ago, knowing that if I followed this path the loans would be forgiven. Does your mortgage have the option to work in the government sector for less money and make 10 years of payments? If so, then yeah, y...

His hobbies don't change the fact that he satisfied the 10 years of service and payments required for loan forgiveness. I'm less than a year out for ~200k of forgiveness....

Ran into this interesting article today regarding childhood vaccines. I didn't see it list the study data but the premise is something to think about. Does seem that there are a lot of fringe views held by posters here.
