These 2 guys couldn't have been a worse pick to succeed the great one Rush Limbaugh!. Clay cant shut up long enough and is always boasting about something, just a total retard. SEC fans will remember him from covering UT back in the day. ugh
Rush was always spot on with his ideas, observations, and especially humor. There's several guys that would've filled that time slot better, Jesse Kelley is not bad.

I can’t listen to them. Way too many commercials.

Rush knew how to entertain.
Environmentalist Wacko Updates
Feminazi Updates
Friday Football picks from an Environmentalist Wacko perspective
Seminar callers
Who can forget RitaX and Colonel Colin Powell!!!
His " commercials"
Rush was a radio guy first and foremost and understood the medium. He knew how to bring humor into his discussions. These other guys don't . Clay&Buck don't. Hannity is unlistenable, Glenn Beck back in the old old days had humor with Clothes Line Friday. Jesse Kelly doesn't have the humor either

Bongino is better than those two lightweights.

They should have given that spot to Bo Snerdly.

Did you know that Clay has 3 boys? Of course you did, he tells you every segment.

They're not perfect.
But, I don't get the hatred for them.

Whatever happened to Mark Steyn?

I’ll go to my grave believing that Mark Steyn was the only logical choice to take the EIB Golden microphone after Rush’s death.
There was ever only going to be one Rush, but Steyn (IMO) was the only one with the cutting humor, ideas and observations to come remotely close to Rush.

Rush would be pissed as frick knowing Clay Travis, a 2 time Obama voter, took over his slot.
We have been taken over by Democrats from within. They weren't destroying us enough from the outside.

Markley, Van Camp, and Robbins is good if you get them. They add humor to their show. They are also a Millennial, a Gen X’er, and a Boomer so you get diversity of ages.
At night John Batchelor is good. He is more informative with intelligent guests who can talk deeply on more topics.

He was bad enough at sports but he was a know click baiter back then so I guess the news wanted the same.

Vivek should take over the job

I'm always surprised to see this board about them. I have thoroughly enjoyed them so far.... except that Clay is a Vols fan.

Not saying he should have replaced Rush because his style is quite different and may not have caught on with a lot of folks, but I love my guy Dennis Prager.

Other than Michael Barry, conservative radio is just boring now. If you could somehow merge the comedy of Adam Carolla, the policies of Matt* Walsh and the brashness of Tucker Carlson...then youd maybe have something close to Rush

I have given them a chance, but I have tapped out. Dan Bongino would have been by far a better choice, but pretty much anything corporate these days sucks.

There is a guy on Houston radio that I was hoping would be given a shot at Rush's follow-up
Michael Berry - seems to be solid conservative - can talk on any topic - listens to callers and responds productively.
Only gripe I have is that he intros every segment with too much music - and I only listen to radio during short trips in the car - seems like I time it to get nothing but 80% music.
On long drives, he delivers political content that is only beat by Rush's legacy.
He does spend time on other tangents tho. Some are interesting, others not so much. (for me == but I want political discussion on daytime radio)

There’ll never be another Rush.

Should have been Michael Berry.
