Gafford is playing out of his mind, and that’s even with a few easy misses at the rim.

I can't believe I'm about to say this...but this team is missing Kleber a little. Green is playing more minutes in his absence...Green hasn't been bad at all but all the added minutes guys are taking on are going to be big against a young fast team like OKC. And all of a sudden OKC knocks down 5 straight 3s. Dallas in trouble right now. Dallas being out hustled and out rebounded across the board.

Completely agree. I think we need to play Exum a little more, and play him at the 4. Exum played his best all season when he was at the 4.

Something if just off with Luka. He has yet to shoot well all playoffs. And OKC just buries a 35 foot 3.

OKC has now made their last 6 3pt shots. Luka has made 5 shots total and now he's pressing and forcing up bad shots.

I really think Luka is hurt more than we know. He wouldn't be playing right now if this was regular season. And he keeps getting more and more banged up each game.

Giving those minutes to Hardaway coming off injury. I thought Dallas was better without Hardaway honestly. He doesn't play defense, doesn't help you on offense unless you catch him the 1 in 10 games that he gets hot. Just takes bad shots in the other 9 games.

OKC is making some absolute demoralizing shots.

They're like 80% from 3 in the 2nd half. And they're not wide open easy shots. They deep, contested 3 and off the dribble. Dallas just being out classed all the way around. First half I felt like OKC was very much ref assisted to get the lead they had. 2nd half, they have out shot, out rebounded, and out hustled Dallas on both ends.

Dallas has missed 20 points worth of easy shots. Luka has had his worst game of the playoffs and has missed 6 in the paint or at the elbow area. Gafford has missed 8 from within 3 ft of the rim. Lively has been a complete non factor.

Edit: Just looked at shot chart...5 min left in game and Dallas has missed 22 shots in the paint tonight. 15/37 in the paint. You will not win many games like that.

I don’t think anybody would have expected them to be competing like this just yet.
Was looking at the NBA GMs preseason survey earlier tonight, and while no one expected them to be #1in the WCF, it does appear they all knew this team could make some noise

I would slow down on this. The Thunder are going to be too young to compete against Dallas.

7 game series big man. I said Mavericks in 6. You sound just like the people who laughed in my face after LA dog walked Dallas Game 1 in RD1.

The WCF will be a great series between two young athletic teams in OKC and Minnesota.
I'm pulling for Dallas, but Game one is a beatdown.

Looks like Minnesto won three of five games in the 2023-2024 season.

Was wondering if their defenses dominted their games, but both teams scored at least 100 points except for Jan. 20th.game when the T'wolves only scored 97. Could be a great series. Regardless of these two teams' inexperience, I say the West wins again.

They really have a Jalen Williams and a Jaylin Williams on that roster?

Naw, one of y’all got to go just on GP.

Nah, keep both of them.

“Worst number one seed ever”

Thats OKC’s 10th straight win.

Also, 5th playoff game in a row to hold opponent to less than 98.

Hayward should not see the court again.

Youngest team in history to win a 2nd round playoff game

Bench player
Aaron Wiggins tonight

16 PTS
3-4 3PT
5 REB
2 AST
1 STL
1 BLK

Kendrick Perkins
@KendrickPerkins
Man these young boys from OKC are serious. The agenda free basketball they play is the most impressive thing about those young fellas. I know they got Brick City rocking again. Damn I miss Mickey Mantle’s Steak house after the games.

The OKC Thunder take Game 1 against the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Semi-Finals

SGA: 29/9/9/1/2
JDub: 18/5/5 (10 in 4th quarter)
Wiggins: 16/5/2/1/1
Chet: 19/7/1/2/3

Luka held to just 19 points on 6/19 shooting

You were doing so well by yourself. Then you lost all credibility with the tweet from Kendrick Perkins.

Not sure out of what you saw tonight makes you think Dallas can keep up with OKC or repair whatever injury is making Luka look like complete shite for the entire postseason in time to win 4 out of the next 5. Irving is a badass but he can only do so much to carry them.

The Timberwolves and Thunder are 11-0 against KD, Book, Jokic, Murray, Luka, Kyrie, and a Pels team that spent most of March top 5 in the West

We're five games away from a stacked WCF between two teams that were a combined 0-7 in playoff series from 2017-2023

Inside joke
