Sure. It used to be that way at other SEC schools too. The way the left works is that they take or makeup small chances to make a dent. And then do it over and over. And slowly they undermine the greek system, which is one of the very few conservative institutions for young people still around--especially on a college campus. Assuming that alums in MS have political power and/ or donor power, they should rattle this chancellor's chains hard, now.

i know we're on the same side here and i'm not trying to call you out per se - but you're saying that the dude gave them the ammo they were asking for, and i'm saying that validating that is playing into their hands. we cant possibly ask every single human on our side in a fight like that to be completely perfect and have a completely clean history, and then when something happens, immediately jump to condemn them. it's an impossible standard that they KNOW we cant possibly live up to, which is their entire strategy.

What I mean is that the Greek system there is so entrenched that it is a sure way to get donors in an uproar.
The percentage of students at OM who are hardcore GDI (God Damn Independent) is extremely low compared to most other schools.

this is how they undermine every single institution in Western civilization. disrupt, discredit, destroy - that is all they can do but they are fricking good at it.

What *I* mean is that even at a school like Ole Miss, almost all the faculty and the administration hate the Greek system, what it represents, and who participates in it. They aren't going to destroy it overnight, but they will undermine it and infiltrate it slowly, and either kill it or turn it into yet another leftist indoctrination institution, unless there is very strong pushback. For example, appointing a diversity officer or council to "fix" the problem with the system revealed by this incident (which is fake, with fake outrage). Never accept the narrative that offense was intended, or given, or that the people trying to stand up for the American flag and conservative values were in the wrong. And make it clear to the administrators that they work in and for a State that will fire them if they start trying to get their tentacles in.

Exactly, except often after or instead of "destroy" it's "take over and turn into leftist zombie instittuion."
For the downvoter: Hollywood was once pretty conservative. Universities were fairly conservative, or at least there were many conservative universities. Corporations were conservative. The military was conservative. People laughed at the idea that they'd get co-opted and zombified. It happened, though.

I know the Chancellor is speaking specifically of the Ole Miss protests... But take a look at some of the other protests and they were anything but peaceful from the pro-palestinian protesters... If the protesters come back to Ole Miss.. the frat guys should just stay far away and let the protesters do their work and eff up some of the campus...

I just watched a video of the OM protest and saw a ProP protestor throw a water bottle at a counter protestor. That’s assault. Maybe we should inundate the OM PD with complaints about it.
