Chicago is going to feel really dumb for passing up on this guy.

Never thought I'd be a Redskin fan but here I am!

I keep hearing people say off platform throws. Everyone is looking for the next Patrick Mahomes. I love what Jayden does. He gets through his first three reads in an instant and then he picks up as many yards on the ground as possible. He has the ability to throw off platform. But he doesn’t do it a lot because you put the ball at risk when you do. The Commanders made a great pickup in my opinion.

All you kids who don’t look like Jayden, guess you’re out of luck…so he only wants to inspire 2% of Americans…rite on.

Doug Williams was in the right place at the right time. Jay Schroeder gets hurt and Williams takes over the team for the Superbowl run.

Did JD5 really just channel his inner Angel Reese right there? lol

I wonder how it would be received if JJ McCarthy wanted to inspire kids who “look like him”?
Oh, that’s (D)ifferent.

This is exactly why what Reese and Daniels both said is insidious and should be called out. Their statements are RACIST. Period.
Stop dividing folks and just play ball and win.

Doug Williams, Cheneyville’s favorite son.

I hope Jayden does well, but there's 2 teams I can't bring myself to root for. The current team out of Washington, and the Dirty Birds.
Well, that and the Houston Oilers.

I vividly recall all the Tiger fans his initial season at LSU. "He can't throw! He's selfish! He's too predictable!"

JJ McCarthy's community and ethnicity isn't still climbing out of the disadvantages, marginalization, and wealth gap created by slavery, Jim Crow and segregation. Why do you and people who think like you get so offended and afraid of the inspiring of people and children who look like Jayden Daniels? Stop with this race fear mongering and replacement theory. There is enough of everything to share with mankind... love, peace and resources!

He won't last long if he scrambles like he did in college. It's just a fact of quarterbacking in the NFL. His career will hinge on his ability to throw the ball just like his college career only took off when he learned how to be effective throwing the ball.

shite I'm an Eagles fan and I might have go follow Daniels for the time being. At the same time LSU comes first over pro sports for me.

And all of that was true his first 4 years in college.
Notice how his passing numbers and performance increased and that's what caused him to move up draft boards?
People here just never learn. It's like you can't separate timelines or see nuance to anything. You only see huge blocks of information with a few words and smash those labels into every idea\thought thereafter.
Daniels was objectively a poor passer year 1.
His first 4 years there was no doubt about his athletic abilities and running abilities. He was always very good at that going back to HS.
His running abilities will not separate him in the NFL. His arm will be the key to everything.
