It’s going to have to get as bad as it has become in Argentina before Americans even think about voting for a fiscally responsible government

Print money to support welfare. Sounds familiar, but I can’t put my finger on it.

Yeah I forgot to include him, but would argue Trump is still number 1. The risk of him taking over the foreign policy of the most powerful country is by far their greatest fear. They simply thought he couldn't win in 2016, so it was a mistake on their part not taking him seriously, but now, they do.

Peter Zaihan predicted this on Joe Rogans podcast a while back.

Along with some other fascinating information that looks like it can be confirmed with our own eyes concerning Russia.

avoid the dreaded government shutdown.

The Beltway thieves are scared to death of a shutdown because they know that when the average taxpayer wakes up the morning after the shutdown goes into effect and they can still take their kids to school, go to work, play golf and do every other normal activity - all without the federal government's assistance - they will realize how unimportant the federal government is. That's what frightens DC.

Same.

I'd never underestimate our own CIAs ability to negate him if Argentine bankers dont get him first.

Except in electoral politics. People will often vote for the candidate that promises instant gratification.

If he’s smart he’ll plow that surplus into some public initiative to calm the population.

If this elite cabal exists then Xi is clearly #1 by far. No close #2

The day-to-day functions are probably not felt very often but as soon as the checks from the federal government stop flowing people will feel it pretty quick

I’m very interested to see how this will play out for Argentina. They are in a bad place with inflation and economic prosperity

You just do what you've done and say frick 'em. Clinton did it in 98.

. taking away the hundreds of billions of dollars we just sent to Ukraine and invest in our own infrastructure

We don't actually have those hundreds of billions. We made them up. And our economy is busy enough that it doesn't need a $100b+ stimulus. We just need to not print that 100 billion. Pretend it doesn't exist because it reall ydoesn't.

Argentina averaged a military coup & government collapse about every 11-12 years over the last century.

Argentina is definitely a boom or bust economy. Instability has hampered them for generations, but things are really great there when it’s booming.

Uruguay next door is almost a mini-Argentina, but have been more stable in recent decades. They don’t have the wild swings Argentina experiences, despite being impacted by Argentina’s economy through trade agreements and other partnerships.
