War isn't pretty and shouldn't be made out that way
In the left's mind, war should still be fought like it was in the revolution with both armies meeting outside the city and lining up across from each other to battle. I mean, they MUST think this or how else is a war fought with no civilian casualties?

Can one be pro Israel and pro Palestinian?
Hard to be both after 10/7/23, seeing as the Palestianians of Gaza elected Hamas to govern their territory.

I was surprised the mayor of NYC using the term "Outside agitators" to describe out of towner's coming to his city for the NYU protests. He sounded like my dad did during the 60's Civil Rights protests.

may be due to fear, but 80% approval rating and there was cheering in the streets all over Gaza after Oct 7.

Gaza
Only had one election.
PA refused to handover authority.
Hamas killed them,
but, two state solution.
Except there are three.

Philzilla, are you actually arguing that the non Hamas people on Gaza do NOT support Hamas on a high % basis? Honestly curious

I’m sure these students also don’t realize that the issues they support would get them stoned by Hamas……

So Palestinians aren't responsible for the actions of their elected representatives?
Or, if they are all captives of Hamas, what were UNWRA and other "concerned" Muslim countries doing to protect them and work for change?
Would you have preferred Israel and/or the US to come in and do regime change earlier?
For 75 years these people have attacked Israel, lost, then complained about the consequences of their actions all while doing nothing to improve their own conditions or prove that they can self-govern.

We need to give them some 1970's history books that tell about a young country whipping England's dictatorial butt, and claiming it's independence! How bout they do things the American way and fight the evil bastards keeping them down.

Kinda pussies to let their government waste all their resources on war with another country for 20+ years.
Wait.
