The Current Hostage Crisis at Universities

If people want to protest something, they have a right to do so...but your rights only go so far as to not infringe on the rights of others. Protesting to the point where colleges/universities are closing classes is going too far.
So far Columbia, NYU and Yale have shifted to remote classes...Harvard has shut down Harvard Yard. How can these people not see how their "Protests" galvanize people against their cause? Absolutely myopic. I'm sick of seeing institutions of higher learning being held hostage by these self-righteous turds.

Given the time of year, this almost seems like the modern Ivy League version of pulling a fire alarm to get out of a final.

Because it isn’t supposed to. Just like the people who took over an airport and block streets. They’re not trying to win support they’re laughing in our faces while they take over our infrastructure. I really want these pussies to come into a deep red area.

These “institutions of higher learning” put these people there. Not only that, they rejected 95% of other applicants specifically to admit them. Seems to me they are getting what they want.

For years academia has encouraged leftist dissent often accompanied with violence either by passively allowing it if the cause fit their liberal ideology and narrative and often times promoted by left wing professors and administrators. Meanwhile the administration often did anything they could to stifle conservative voices by denying them access due to " safety" concerns or demanding exorbitant payment for security or facility rental. The treatment of NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines and conservative activist Ben Shapiro are prominent examples. These universities have reaped what hey have sowed and will face civil litigation if the violence they encouraged has disastrous effects.

They're so convinced of their righteousness that they do not care if others are against their cause. Any response towards them which is not a rebuke violent enough to disperse them is something they consider to be a win.
They'll stand in locked arms and chant and beat their drums, but the moment they start getting tagged with tazers and rubber bullets, they call it a day. The issue is that authorities are so overly reluctant to take that step that the protesters take over and that take-over just emboldens them to do more.

Universities brought this shite on themselves.

Only thing that will get anything done is if parents sue the living shite out of the school and organizers.
If this is done, then they deserve what they get. Can't help people who don't want to help themselves.
There is legit hatred and threats coming from the muslims, so Jews need to stop whining and get shite done. They will be at fault for being the victims, so no more cares for their crocodile tears. Do what needs to be done.

The so called “academics” have spawned this behavior. They have allowed this to fester like a cancer with some professors teaching outright lies. They need to weed this out of the academic institutions before this ever changes.

The protests are glorious.
Show the average American just how far academia has gone to shite.

Exactly. They bred the thing and took their money all at the same time. I care about this as much as I care about riots and instability at the next DNC convention!

So… the plan for 2024 is for protests to force closures in lieu of Covid?

Release a couple of these. They'll leave.
