Would Trump be in this same position if he was a Democrat? Anybody that answers yes to that question is a liar, so that tells me all I need to know about the merits of this case

Would your perception of OJ have changed if he were found guilty instead of not guilty?

I know a good amount don’t care what he does as he can do no wrong. But for the level headed Trump supporters, what if your candidate is a criminal? Do you view him favorably still?
And to be honest, all of the proceedings and possible convictions are slippery slopes, but I’m trying to see what people think based on the fact if Trump is deemed a criminal.
You seem like a person that would poll as “undecided”

Are you kidding? Have you paid any attention at all to what’s been going on?

Trump being jailed at the time of the election may be the only chance he has to earn my vote, strictly as a protest to the lawfare going on. It won’t be because of policy, or his track record 2016-2020.

It simple, this is a binary election with Biden (0) and Trump (1). If Trump is convicted, it will not change the opinion of him for those that support him.

Nope...he's done nothing illegal to be convicted of

lol. To the Cult, nothing is ever Trump’s fault, he is always the helpless victim. Trump can also never fail, he can only be failed.
I’m not a Trump voter. At least I wasn’t the last two times but likely will this time. So not a cult member.
And I can plainly see that they are purposefully dragging him through the mud as much as possible just to increase their odds of winning.
It’s pretty much all a sham. Especially the cases in NY.

All seems like a show trial
If I am being honest don't even know what that are charging him with

No. We have a really good idea of what Trump did/didn't do in these cases.
If you haven't already made a judgment on his actions, the fact that applying those actions to the law shouldn't change anything.
Especially in the NY case, which is built around a very weird law and Trump having terrible legal advise for his schemes to hide settlement payments.

No. Will absolutely vote for him. Will never be friendly to a New Yorker again.

Yes, they have him "dead to rights" on something that isn't a crime.

Or have dropped out of the race?
We all know these "charges" would have never been filed if he decided to take the path of least resistance and fade off into the sunset. Dems are evil. Full stop.

eh...
Regardless, the biggest issue with that case isn't the claims related to him possessing documents that he wasn't legally allowed to, it was his response, the alleged obstruction (and the related charges).
It's a "it's not the crime, it's the coverup" scenario.
That's why those have always been the clear #1 in the power rankings.

Dude. Biden gave classified information to a ghost writer for his book THAT HE PROFITED FROM and received zero charges for it. He couldn’t remove it in any scenario. He couldn’t keep it in any scenario. He couldn’t store it in any scenario. He couldn’t share it in any scenario.
Annnnd nothing. So why is your example “dead to rights”?
