Not really. The charges are politically motivated. That is pretty obvious.

The case is such bullshite we can't even agree what's the charges.
You understand the basis of the charges is for falsifying business records. This is a misdemeanor! And the statue of limitions is up. So in order to bypass that, brags is stating it a felony by saying trump intended this to have it not come out before the elections. In turn brags is saying it should be a campaign donation. To top of off some payments were after the election!
Paying someone to sign an NDA is legal. That's not the argument.
The charges are trumps 34 payments to Cohen were listed as legal expenses.
The Doj, fec, and precious DA didn't even bring the case up.
Brags is also not a federal prosecutor so how did he bring up federal charges?
And if you still believe this is illegal then check on how the dnc listed it's payments to fusion GPS for opposition research during the 2016 election to hurt their political opponent. You guest it "legal expenses"

Cool. He should be prosecuted.
Has nothing to do with Trump

There isn't an applicable federal law that would work like the wacky NY state business law.

Simple. He's not.

Not exactly comparable for multiple reasons.
The fact that you can directly track back the payments to the source is a big difference.

None of this has anything to do with Trump or Trump's actions. The mental gymnastics on here that is often used to excuse Trump's actions are quite impressive. In some of your minds Trump has never done anything wrong, never broken a law, never done something he shouldn't have and it is always someone else's fault. Its almost if Trump isn't the genius you say he is because he seems to be easily tricked and manipulated

It depends on whether the orange jumpsuit clashes with his skin tone.

No. We’re headed towards third world shithole status, where we jail political opponents. It doesn’t say anything about him, really.
Posted on 4/19/24 at 8:54 am to ForeverGator
Nope.
None of these are legit charges and trials.

I need no further confirmation.
The time for a great reckoning is overdue. We need either divine intervention to fix this, or an errant comet impact to end this all.

No. I will still think he is a turd, but a better turd than Biden.

You can't be serious with this right here. These judges, except for Cannon, have hamstrung Trumps defense at every opportunity. Gag orders on Trump but letting the prosecution say whatever it wants to about the case through the media. Threats of contempt for calling out the judge for being a Democrat donor. Shouldn't he have recused himself?

If Trump was convicted of a crime that is actually criminal, sure.
Paying hush money to hide an affair or the appearance of an affair? He was a celebrity, this shite happens 1000x a week. Who cares? Why was it ok for Bill Clinton, JFK, or any EU leader with a side piece?
Or any of the other lawfare crap? Come on.
