The classified documents case against him is an open and shut case. They even gave him multiple chances to return the documents in question and he refused. Trump did this to himself. It was avoidable and the 'stable genius' chose another path

No. Because the charges are bullshite.
Why hasn't anyone charged Bill Clinton with these same charges for paying Paula Jones $800,000?
These court cases are only there to try and keep Trump from campaigning. They are terrified of him winning again.
And if he does win I pray that he fires half the DOJ and FBI and replaces them with people that are instructed to look at EVERY single politician, DA, and judge, to look for any criminal activity. And charge anyone who does.
Then build gallows in front of the capitol.

I don't like Trump. Not a cult member. Many of his woes are because he is reckless and narcissistic. None of the accusations are unique to him, and I can think of examples of democrats who have done the same exact thing in every single case.
I would vote for him if he dropped trou and took a dump on the desk in court because that is how much I detest this current regime.

Trump acted in the exact same manner as every president before him since the PRA went into effect. He was in active discussions with the national archives. Then they raided Mar A Lago where documents were removed from a SCIF. Which, by the way, was put in place to satisfy the request of the NA.
There is also a question as to whether documents are de-classified. They also included a cover of Time magazine as a “classified document”.
There is so much BS surrounding that entire case it is anything but a “slam dunk”.
