Great book, cant wait to see how the TV series turns out. Although, I hate how they gave away one of the twists in the trailer.

Finished the book yesterday randomly. Really really liked it.

Has anyone started to watch the first 2 episodes that dropped yesterday?
Just wondering how well they start the series. I just saw it available on my phone.

Apple is like a new sci-fi network right now. Doing lots of good stuff.

Just the first one. Top notch so far.

Love the book. Watched the first two episodes and so far it’s a very good adaptation, from what I remember. And very well made.
My wife is a hodor and is already fully invested, which is awesome. This kind of story can be hit or miss with her.
What sucks is she knows I know the story, so I can’t fall back on the typical “I’m watching this for the first time too, just watch the show” response to her myriad questions.

Jennifer Connelly is looking as smoke as ever.

Not familiar with the book, but love the concept and the cast. I'll be watching.

The 1st 2 episodes are really good.

Just watched the first episode and the first scenes (bar and right after) were filmed two blocks from my house...

Is that the same thing as what Syfy did years ago?

Loved the book, and enjoying the series so far.
Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly are really holding this thing together—the Velocity Lab trio (Leighton, Amanda and the Black security guard girl) are all giving varying degrees of bad performances IMO.
The plot is as cool as it was in the book, but as much as I love Blake Crouch's books, the writing for the show feels a bit subpar. He's not actually the greatest writer overall anyway, but is one of my favorites just based on plots and themes.
The direction/pacing doesn't always work the best for me either. Feels like it could be a bit more propulsive, although there is some space needed to explore its headier science.
All in all still well worthwhile, and feels like it is picking up a bit now finally.
