LINK A North Carolina high school student was charged after he allegedly slapped his teacher multiple times during a viral profanity-laced classroom rant earlier this week
NSFW profanity. Also, the white privilege is highly problematic and could cause you to literally shake.

His parents should beat his arse. But they are more likely to sue than discipline him.
ETA: And the students filming it and laughing at it are just about as much of the problem as the one actually doing it. Certain parts of today's youth are fricking lost and potentially unrecoverable.
I want to say good on the teacher for sitting there and taking it, but I don't even know if that's the right move either because it just provokes him to do it more. Sadly, she knows she can't say or do anything without risking getting in trouble and losing her job. But yeah, let's throw more money at "education" to fix things when no amount of money can fix something like this. This shite starts (and ends) in the home, but nobody wants to have that conversation.
There is not any amount of money you could pay me to be a public school teacher.

3 misdemeanors and he's a minor, slap on the wrist will be all and he will learn nothing from it

The scariest part to me in all these videos is that all the students watching record and laugh...there is no intervention. EVER>

This why good teachers leave the profession.
I predict in the future that you will not be able to distinguish between a prison and an inner city public school.

Must have been cold in that room. The poor marginalized student even had to wear a hoodie.

Teachers should be able to sue the parents of students who behave like this.
Or lock up the parents like we do with school shooters.

Not sure how I know but disrespek was involved
Side note: OP should be ashamed of sharing this "cookie cutter" student slapping their teacher story with the O-T

Remember, our country was built by people of color and diversity is our strength!

OT Moderates and Progressives not only approve of this behavior, but anyone that dares point this out is a white nationalist racist xenophic homophic ist.
This child's behavior is that fault of you and your family, especially those of you who do the right thing.

Not to sound like an internet badass but if that lady was my wife I’d probably be in jail right now.

In my opinion there should be no such thing as "compulsory education." Let's just stop with that and make it voluntary. Keep these trouble makers out of schools and let them grow up to be lifers in prison.

And this is why public school is not an option in Louisiana for anyone who can afford private school and many who can't.

This is the reason I encouraged my wife to retire from teaching. Kids today are not being raised to respect anything at home, and it's translating to this behavior in society, particularly the public school system

Public schools are nothing but day cares at this point.
It is sad. The whole system is broken. No Child Left Behind did nothing but pull the average down to the bottom and pull the top down to the average.
There needs to be away to remove the students from the school that don't want to be there and the parents have no interest in those kids education. Schools need to be buildings of learning not teaching how to behave. Until that changes, schools are doomed.
Can't teach when you can't discipline kids. Can't disciple kids because alternative schools are full and admin has no where to put them. So minor infractions don't get processes and major infractions just end up in In School Suspension or 3 days out then right back in the classroom.
It is a huge issue that needs fixing but nothing will be done about it. Good teachers are leaving the field and being replaced by unqualified warm bodies which just multiplies the problems.

That schools administration should remove kids with this type of behavior. My wife (no pics) is a teacher at our magnet school. She has a very supportive principal. But if she was attacked like that and the principal and police did noting about it her husband so take care of it. Reminds me of that old Hank Williams Jr, song.
And if I was on the husbands jury I would be 100% not guilty.
quote:
I went down to the Mary Carter paint store
I said, "Give me one of them Smith
& Wesson Magnum 44s"
'Cause there's a man that the law let
Loose and justice was not done this man
He killed my wife and my only little son
I'll never forget the way he
Looked all through the trial
He had his big name lawyer and
He had that smirky smile
Woah, yeah, he got you off on a technicality
But you have to grow wings and fly
To ever get away from me
'Cause I got rights, I got rights too
And this time there won't be no damn
Lawyers and systems to protect you
But I'm gonna read you
I'm gonna read you your rights
You got a right to know that you gonna
Go to hell one of these black nights
And when the trial was over, he
Had the nerve to say
"That's the way it goes"
I said, "Well, Hoss, you'd better
Get you some corks
'cause you're gonna have to plug
Up a few holes"
Guess he thought I was talkin'
Just to pass away time
But he kinda looks different
Now on his knees, beggin' for his life
Hey, I got rights, I got some rights too
And this time there won't be no damn
Lawyers and systems to protect you
But I'm gonna read you
I'm gonna read you your rights
Because I want you to know that you're gonna
Go to hell one of these black nights
Naw, and this time there ain't no damn
Lawyers and systems to save you
And if I was on the husbands jury I would be 100% not guilty.

don’t any of you dare post a very specific cartoon character meme that doesn’t outright point out the obvious, that we aren’t allowed to say, but hints at it.
ask Sun God, he’s been banned since 1/1/2024 for making that fatal error.
