It isn’t.
They’re trying to make a crazy legal theory that there’s a campaign violation from it because he was doing it to protect his image while running for office.
Which they cannot prove at all. He was already a public figure before running for office. Who could say that he didn’t want people to know to save his family from embarrassment?

The DOJ said there was no crime. The FEC said it didn't involve campaign funds so wasn't a violation. Podunk NY DA with no standing brings a bogus felony case and the lib judge let's him get away with it.

In a saner time, this would be a mangy dog with fleas of a case.
You want to prove something that is federal via a state level possible criminal action which on the state level if left to itself is not even necessarily criminal.
That would mean that half of the donations from NY society would possibly fall under this particularly half the Upper East Side

Bragg is just fulfilling his promise to "get Trump" by any means possible. He should go to jail for violating Trump's constitutional and civil rights under the color of law.
